January 4, 2020: Voices of Hope Humanitarian Choir and Instrumentalists Concert
“Everything was beautiful, the soloists, the choir, the orchestra. I can’t stop thinking about it.”- Audience Member
Join the all-volunteer Voices of Hope Humanitarian Choir and Instrumentalists for an uplifting evening with professional soloists, a top-notch choir and a chamber ensemble of gifted instrumentalists. These artists generously share their time and talents to bring awareness to the crisis of homelessness.
Bay Area composer, conductor and founder of the ensemble, Henry Mollicone, has long had a passion for the plight of the poverty-stricken. His composition “Misa de los Inmigrantes” (Spanish) brings to life the compelling true story of one immigrant woman’s struggle to survive. Also on the program are Mollicone’s popular “Beatitude Mass: For the Homeless” (Latin) along with toe-tapping spirituals.
Our hope is that the music Inspires you to make a difference through a meaningful contribution, of any size, to benefit the homeless at the “Village House” through St. Francis Episcopal Church.
“I am only one, but I am one. I can’t do everything, but I can do something…” – Edward E. Hale
